Gran-Fighter

Diecast Transformer from Japan

Nippon Animation Company 1977

Gran fighter is simply an anomoly of the "norm" in Japanese diecast robot land. What the heck, this guy has a magnetic face! His face pulls off and he has chrome arm stickers for goodness sake. Takemi got chinsey on the chrome.... BUT this brick is almost solid diecast and magnets. We have a plastic spade missile cover and plastic shoulders, but besides the feet, that's it. Gran Fighter is a solid primitive diecast robot. I haven't seen another toy like it outside of the Gingaizer line.

Above we have pictures of the front, back, and magnetic face-plate design.

Above are box art pictures which include photos of Bull Gater and brother robots.

Above are magnet and inside the box details of Gran Fighter from Takemi toys (Japan).
