Hound

Transformer Binaltech BT-04 Hound (Jeep in 1/24 Scale)

Lucky X has done it again and shared with us a preview of the upcoming Alternators Hound. Hound will be a green Jeep with moving suspension and well jointed arms and legs.

My first impressions of this prototype were that the Jeep is awesome and the rail (under the doors) may be trouble. I am going to guess that the finished toy will require a delicate touch as you seperate the fenders/chest from the rear/ legs. The hinge actually wasn't a hinge but a male and female pop apart joint. I kept trying to un hinge the rail right or left, up or down. But it needed a forceful pull to get the peg out of the hole. Engineers may improve this design before production.

Hound's rubber wheels and suspension were a great realistic touch. As with the other Alternators toys, the head sculpt was incredible. I give the designers kudos. The interior was dead on realistic, as was the panneling.

Another thought is that the legs don't deserve the harsh remarks I have heard. We have a jeep here folks and the designers have little to work with. Keeping that in mind, we have ankle, knee, hip, and waist joints in the lower body.

I enjoyed our Transformers Alternators Hound and think it will be a hit among kids and collectors. Just take care transforming it for the first time. Dare I say read the directions?
