Below are pictures of the 1980's Voltron robot toy. Remember Voltron around 1984? Gen X kids might have faint memories of anime cartoons and kid pilots yelling "...and I'll form the head."

Matchbox toys took an older Japanese toy and marketed it as Voltron III. The deluxe 12" + tall robot consists of a Black robot, yellow, blue, green, and red robot lion. Each lion transforms together to make the large Voltron 3. The original Japanese toy was known as Go Lion by Popy Toys. You can also glance at our Godaikin section for Go Lion.
