Baron Von Joy Porsche 930 Gobot

Back in the 1980's Bandai began experimenting with their Machine Robo toys, what we Americans know as Gobots. They took the larger DX (deluxe) toys and branded them as "Scale Robo". Pictured below is the Japanese robot we know as Baron Von Joy.
  
This particular version of Baron Von Joy is quite difficult to find and white. It almost exactly replicates the 1980's Porsche 930 car with rubber tires, decals, and scale proprtions.
Up until the year 2001 I hadn't even confirmed this toy existed. Every once in a while I would see this white version in catalogs or sales brochures. |
